Take to the sky in the oldest form of aviation known to man, the hot air balloon.  Our flights typically begin at the Quechee Village Green, directly next to the Ottaquechee River.

Once in flight the hot air balloon matches the surrounding air currents and essentially becomes "one with the wind."  The pilot has excellent and precise control over the balloons altitude, and will adjust it as necessary to place the balloon in different air currents moving in different directions essentially "steering" the balloon.  Since conditions vary daily every flight is different and has its own unique flight path.  Every flight is a new adventure.  

 Take Note: Our Balloons carry a maximum of five passengers (private flights can accommodate up to 6) plus the pilot.  This provides the ideal scenario for families, couples, friends, and small groups wishing to enjoy a personal and private experience. 

Pilot Chris Ritland has a commercial pilots certificate from FAA, and is certified to instruct aspiring hot air balloon pilots.  Chris has been flying balloons for 16 years, and has flown in balloon festivals in Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, New Jersey and in Ireland.
