• Amherst Experimental Balloon, Hopper, Chariot, and Airship Rally - XLTA is the popular name for the balloon meet for people who build, fly, or just love experimental balloons & airships. Held Mid-May in Amherst, Massachusetts with onsite camping. Advance registration is REQUIRED even if you just want to take a look due to the limited space available. Launch sites vary with the weather.
  
   
• Great Falls Balloon Festival - The Great Falls Balloon Festival is held the third weekend in August in Lewiston/Auburn, Maine. The Festival offers over 35 Balloons,Crafts,Entertainment, and a carnival for the kids.
  
   
• Hillsboro Balloon Festival - A great small fair in New Hampshire ... more than just ballooning, its fun for the whole family. Includes carnival rides, tractor pulls, and an antique car show. Live bands, a 5k Road Race and a Carnival Midway, Draft Horse Pulls and fireworks display. Website has directions, booking balloon rides, and schedule. Held in early July.
  
   
• Crown of Maine Balloon Fest - Aroostook County, Maine balloon rally held late August each year. Flights launch from the Northern Maine Fairgrounds in Presque Isle, Maine. Activities include a classic car show, pancake breakfast, beer garden, chili cookoff, a BBQ, and live bands.
  
   
• Green River Festival - Balloon festival with music located in Greenfield, Massachusetts.
  
   
• High Hopes Foundation - Amherst Chapter - Balloon festival held annually on Father's day weekend in Milford, NH. Fun for the whole family.
